**Permanent - Full time* 38 hours per week**

**Salary: Band 3 - $62,393.88 - $66,444.21 + 11 % superannuation**
- **Role includes an RDO**

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced person to join our Parks Maintenance Team.

The Parks Maintenance Team is responsible for the maintenance of open spaces cross the municipality.

**What you’ll be working on**:

- Undertake a wide range of horticultural and parks maintenance tasks including grass mowing, garden maintenance, plant care, weeding, mulching, landscape construction at a high standard and in accordance with industry practices and standards.
- Operation of a wide range of mechanical plant and equipment, and routine maintenance of such plant.
- Provide a positive personal contribution to the successful operation of the Parks Department as an efficient, effective and customer focused work team.

**What you need to succeed**:

- Trade Certificate in Horticulture or relevant on the job experience in Horticultural practices and be capable of demonstrating a broad technical knowledge in this field
- Victorian Driver’s License (required), medium rigid truck endorsement (preferable)
- Current Agricultural Chemical Users Permit, Chainsaw License and First Aid Certificate
