Are you an experienced and passionate Mid to Senior Wayfinding Designer looking for a new and exciting, long term freelance opportunity?

One of our government clients has successfully built one of the most talented wayfinding teams in the country. They’re designing innovative and effective wayfinding and signage solutions for a multitude of high profile projects.

This department is committed to enhancing user experiences and ensuring seamless navigation for people across various environments. Therefore, as a Mid to Senior Wayfinding Designer, you will play a crucial role working alongside a team of talented designers, ensuring the delivery of top-notch wayfinding and signage services.

You will collaborate on exciting local government and state infrastructure projects, ensuring wayfinding solutions are integrated seamlessly into the overall design.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with a team of designers to deliver exceptional wayfinding and signage services.
- Collaborate with a broad range of stakeholders on local government and state infrastructure projects.
- Conduct design research to inform innovative and effective wayfinding solutions.
- Utilise design thinking principles to create user-centered wayfinding experiences.
- Ensure the successful implementation of wayfinding systems in various environments.
- Support the graphic design team where you can with brand strategy, identity, and communication design.

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Minimum 3 years of experience in wayfinding design, with a proven track record of successful projects.
- Strong background in project management and collaborating with design teams.
- Proficiency in graphic design tools and software.
- Previous work on infrastructure projects in Health, Education, Cultural, and Urban sectors will be advantageous.
- Your expertise in project management and design research will be highly valued but this is not essential.
