School Infrastructure NSW (SINSW) is delivering new school buildings, major upgrades, and maintenance strategies to ensure every school-aged child has access to high quality education facilities at their local public school. School Infrastructure NSW is embarking on a program of work to digitise and modernise key business operations using contemporary methods and technologies. The Digitalisation program is an executive priority project which will identify and realise opportunities across the infrastructure lifecycle from optioneering through to statutory planning, business case development, detailed design, delivery and asset management.

**About the role**

The Project Officer Role sits within our Service Planning business unit within the Digitalisation Program. The primary purpose is to perform project management and support activities to contribute to the development and delivery of a range of projects in line with established objectives.

**Skills and Experience**
- Significant experience in Project Management making continuous improvement to systems, processes, or procedures to support the implementation of best practice and quality standards.
- Ability to pay high attention to detail in preparation of reports, briefs and maintaining project documentation.
- Effectively communicate and collaborate with stakeholders and possess high level of communication skills to facilitate information exchange.
- Proven organisational skills with the ability to source, collate and compile data and information to identify emerging issues to track and report on project progress against established milestones.
- Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department’s Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department’s Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.
