**As a Metro Bus Operator**:

- You enjoy providing an exceptional customer experience and the rewarding nature of the day-to-day interactions with passengers from all walks of life
- You have a good driving history, with the capacity to learn to safely and reliably drive a heavy passenger vehicle

**What you’ll need**:

- Complete a National Police Check from Tasmania Police
- Hold (or can obtain) a working with vulnerable people (WWVP) card
- Hold a current, full Australian Driver’s Licence (valid for at least 2 years)
- Have full working rights in Australia
- Pass a pre-employment physical assessment, including a Drug and Alcohol test
- Obtain a Public Passenger Vehicle (PPV) licence

**Don’t have a heavy vehicle licence yet? Don’t sweat it ** You’ll start your career at Metro with 6 weeks of paid, extensive training to get your heavy rigid Metro licence.
