**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assisting with the care and management of farm operations and equipment including feeding, watering and cleaning.
- Assist with the planting, harvesting and maintenance of crops and crop equipment.
- Operate and maintain farm equipment, such as tractors, mowers and other machinery.
- Assist with the maintenance and repair of equipment
- Perform routine tasks such as cleaning, maintenance and organization of farm facilities
- Follow safety procedures and guidelines for handling equipment and chemicals
- Keep accurate records of checklists and activities
- Perform other duties as required by the farm manager or supervisor

**Requirements**:

- Have reliable access to and from the work site
- Previous experience in farming, agriculture or a related field is preferred
- Ability to operate farm equipment and machinery
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
- Good communication skills and ability to work well with others
- Have a strong focus and commitment to Occupational Health and Safety, Food Safety, and Personal Hygiene
- Physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Valid driver's license
- Valid forklift license or willingness to obtain.

**Hours and Pay**
- Monday to Friday 6:30am - 2:30pm (Summer), or 7:00am - 3:00pm (Winter)
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays, as required
- $29.04p/hr (Horticulture Award - Casual Level 2) opportunity for growth with onboarding more responsibilities

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Casual

**Salary**: $29.04 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Cobbitty, NSW: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Forklift Licence (required)
