**Job description**:
The Audit Analyst (ASO3) is our graduate/entry level role and is responsible for assisting with financial compliance and internal controls audits, and conducting reviews on issues of importance and interest in the public sector.
- accounting methods and procedures
- social and economic environment and the responsiblity placed on the department for public accountability
- accounting and auditing standards and practices
- audit strategy and scope.

**Essential requirements**:

- The completed degree must meet the requirements for entry into the professional accounting program, offered by CPA Australia or Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (through their accredited tertiary degree entry pathways).
- Be an Australian citizen or Australian permanent resident, at the time of applying.
