An exciting opportunity exists for a Clinical Nurse (CN) to lead and deliver person centred nursing care at an advanced level based on the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia Registered Nurse Standards for Practice. The CN is expected to be able to practice autonomously and provide leadership in clinical decision making. They have the responsibility for professional leadership in the absence of the Nurse Grade 7 and an opportunity to work collaboratively to lead practice changes and clinical innovation.
Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service (SCHHS) is in southeast Queensland and extends through the coastal and hinterland areas from Caloundra in the south and Gympie in the north.

The Sunshine Coast Sexual Health is a non-acute ambulatory outpatient facility of the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service. The main campus is located at the Caloundra Health Service with outreach clinics provided throughout the Sunshine Coast.
**Key Responsibilities include**:

- Adhere to defined service quality standards, health and safety policies and procedures relating to the work being understand to ensure high quality, safe services and workplaces.
- Fulfil the responsibilities of this role in accordance with Schedule 2, Nurses and Midwives (Queensland Health Award) - State 2015 - Generic Level Statements Nurse Grade 6, Band 1 and the Queensland Public Service values.
- Understand your broad responsibilities for safety and quality in healthcare, actively participate in continuous quality and safety improvement activities within the workplace and notify a relevant clinical or non-clinical responsible officer when concerns exist about workplace or patient safety.
