In partnership with Land and Housing Corporation, we are seeking a **Health and Safety Manager** to join the Ventia LAHC team in a full-time permanent capacity.

**About the Role**:
You will promote a strong and positive approach to the safety, health, environment, and quality functions within the business, as well as:

- Manage the implementation of Safety Management Plans across the project.
- Undertake, or lead, investigations in relation to safety related incidents or issues and provide recommendations through the contract leadership team.
- Implementing processes to ensure communication and compliance with all SHEQ policies and procedures including fostering a culture of ‘safety and health above all else’.
- Ensuring risk assessments and risk registers are developed and maintained and all records are managed in accordance with Company requirements.
- Utilise data to enable informed decisions to be made in relation to asset disposal, renewal, and planned maintenance programs.

**About you**:

- Tertiary Qualification in Workplace / Occupation Health and Safety, Environmental or Quality Equivalent.
- Lead Auditor Qualifications or sound experience in managing safety audit programs to ensure effective system compliance.
- Detailed knowledge of SHEQ legislation, regulatory requirements and ISO standards within a utility or infrastructure project environment.
- Ability to develop and execute strategies to ensure compliance, minimise risk and drive continuous improvement.
