**_Where you’ll be working_**

The Cancer Institute NSW is the NSW Government’s cancer control agency, established to lessen the impact of cancer across the state.

**_What you’ll be doing_**

In this role you will be required to assist with the recruitment of people into the Prostate Cancer Outcomes Registry-NSW (PCOR-NSW) and participate in the collection of clinical information and patient reported outcome measures.

You will have demonstrated experience working in a clinical quality registry as well as an understanding of health information and privacy.

**_Essential requirements_**
- Knowledge of the NSW Health system and the Health Records and Information Privacy Act
- Tertiary qualification and/or relevant experience
- Experience working in a clinical quality registry
- Experience collecting Participant Reported Outcome Measures (PROMs)
- Experience abstracting clinical data from histopathology reports and medical records
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Good interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- High level Microsoft Office products such as Excel, Word, Outlook and Teams
- Must be willing to travel throughout NSW on a regular basis*
- Role required to occasionally work out of hours for remote data collection

- Please outline your experience in working in a prostate cancer project and explain how you ensured the timely collection and quality of data whilst simultaneously developing strong relationships with stakeholders who served as the custodians of the data.
- Please provide details of your experience working in a clinical quality registry. What was your role and what challenges did you experience?
