**About the role**

Reporting to the VET Project Coordinator, Employment and Training Division, you will play an integral role in delivering quality VET programs for people who have barriers to education by:

- Coordinating recruitment of participants to enrol into CHC33015 Certificate III Individual Support.
- Deliver training through the Skilling Queenslanders for Work (SQW) project to young people and disadvantaged jobseekers to gain nationally recognised qualification.
- Delivering engaging and industry relevant training in CHC33015 Certificate III Individual Support.
- Provide flexible delivery, adapting resources to meet the individual needs and learning goals of clients
- Work collaboratively with key stakeholders and be able to market the SQW Program for enrolments and industry placements.
- Undertake accurate assessment processes and record keeping to ensure compliance and consistency

To be successful the Trainer / Assessor VET Programs will support our RTO team to ensure quality administration and support in delivery of vocational and non-vocational programs focused on working with people who have barriers to education and; are from diverse backgrounds and life experiences.
- Experience in or the ability to rapidly acquire knowledge of policies, processes and information, including VET programs, Skilling Queenslanders for Work or similar initiatives.
- Agile, adaptable and driven to make a difference
- Willingness to learn and adopt non-traditional RTO approaches
- Customer service focused for participants and external networks
- Ability to work independently in a fast paced and complex environment

**Mandatory Requirements**
- Formal qualifications in Certificate IV Training & Assessment (TAE) and; minimum Certificate III Individual Support Disability
- Hold current Yellow Card and/or NDIS Worker Screening card and Blue Card, COVID 19 Vaccinated
