Our client is a large state government department seeking a IT Customer personal to provides essential level 1 IT support. We are the first point of contact for technical requests, covering a wide range of software, hardware, and in-house systems. Our goal is to deliver effective problem resolution and ensure customer satisfaction.
Initial 12 month contract, working in Brisbane CBD
**Position Overview**:
We are looking for an ICT Helpdesk Support Officer Level 1 to:
- **Handle Requests**: Log and manage first-level technical support requests.
- **Resolve Issues**: Provide information for problem resolution and allocate unresolved calls.
- **Educate Users**: Perform initial problem assessments and educate end users.
- **Maintain Knowledge Base**: Document and update known errors and fixes.
- **Communicate**: Provide status updates and feedback to customers and team members.
- **Organize Workload**: Ensure quality client services and meet deadlines.
- **Contribute**: Support the development and implementation of Service Centre projects and improve operational procedures.
**Desirable Attributes**:
- Experience with Microsoft platforms
- Familiarity with Active Directory
- Basic troubleshooting skills
- Excellent customer service
