**A fantastic opportunity has risen for a driven, skilled individuals to join the Day Procedures support team.**

Day Surgery covering one procedure room and two operating Theatres. The job role will include theatre set up, theatre support for surgery, cleaning and restocking of procedural area.

**About the Role**

An exciting opportunity has become available for motivated, professional individuals to join perioperative services support team.

As a Theatre Orderly you will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team whose goal is to achieve excellent clinical care and outcomes for their patients.

**This key responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to;**
- Transporting patients to and from the theatre;
- Assisting in the day to day function of the Endoscopy / theatre set ups, and cleaning and restocking of theatres prior to commencement of shift and at the end of the day
- Management of rubbish, soiled linen and sharps
- Providing caring customer service to patients and visitors
- Providing support to all clinical and non clinical staff within the day surgery unit.
- Support and training for the use, monitoring and safe storage of equipment.

**About You**

To succeed in this role, you will be a self-motivated, hard-working individual who can effectively work according to direction.

**You will also bring**:

- Holds a certificate III in Operating Theatre Technician Practice or equivalent (Health Services / Aged Care) - desirable but not essential
- Holds a Certificate III in Health Assistant or working towards - desirable
- High level of customer service and excellent time management skills
- Self-motivated and able to work effectively following directions and independently.
