Are you a software engineer who is looking to move away from the tools and focus on product development, whilst being given the chance to grow your own team of developers?

This is a newly created role working with a company that is helping hundreds of Pharmaceutical, Medical and Research companies overcome challenges faced with clinical trials.

The product although being quite young, is already well established in the clinical trial space and well profitable. What we’re looking for, is someone who enjoys the product and client side of things to take this business to a whole new level. Ideally, you will have experience programming in Python and Javascript, but also:

- Experience managing teams and project deliverables
- Ideally, you would have experience with all stages of product development or else have worked very closely with Product Managers
- Ambition, drive and commitment - we’re looking for someone who is really going to give this role a great crack and embrace all challenges faced along the way

You’ll be working closely with the CEO and Business Manager on defining the short and long-term strategy from a product, team and client standpoint.

**The role in a nutshell**:

- Maintaining and adding new features to their platform which was written in Python, Django and Javascript for the time being
- Meeting clients face to face to understand their pain points and how you can successfully solve them
- Assist the Business Manager in identifying key areas for improvement from both a platform and product standpoint
- Create and nurture a team of software engineers as you grow the product

We’re looking for someone who is outgoing and have a proactive work approach and the ambition to do what it takes to set this product up for success. You will initially be required to be in the office 5 days a week in their Collingwood office until further changes are made to accommodate work from home (not guaranteed).
