Cake Decorator

**About Us**:

**Position**

We are looking for a Cake Decorator with a minimum of 3 years industry experience.

You will work with our experienced cake decorators who will guide and train you to meet our SOPs and quality standards.

**The job will mainly focus on;**
- Baking cakes
- Previous experience in a bakery environment cutting, filling and covering cakes with buttercream and ganache
- Experience working with tall cakes (approx 8inches tall)
- Experience decorating cakes to high-quality standards with attention to detail and creative design
- Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable and hardworking
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively within a small team
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Experience in making ganache & buttercream
- Chocolate work - chocolate shards
- Cutting and working with edible images
- Ability to make fondant decorations
- Washing & cleaning
- Operating commercial mixing machines, equipment and oven
- Conducting quality control checks on products
- Maintain high standards of food hygiene, quality and consistency.
- Being responsible for ingredients stock levels
- Collaborate with management on new product ideas
- Ensure that all products meet customer specifications and request are handled with care and professionalism.

**Our applicant will have**:

- Demonstrated experience in a similar environment for a minimum of 3 years
- Excellent time management and the ability to work within a small team as a team player.
- A passion for baking, quality presentation and a keen eye for detail
- Strong written and oral communication skills, basic computer skills.
- Strong cake decorating skills

**Our offer**:

- $50,000 to $70,000 annual salary (depending on skill level and experience)
- Full time work with four week paid annual leave and paid public holidays
- Monday to Friday 6am to 2pm
- Some days may require a later end time based on work load
- Ample car parking at our Epping factory

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 38 per week
