**Role Description/Criteria**

**The position**

Loreto Toorak is seeking an experienced and passionate Italian Teacher to join our dynamic teaching team. **This part-time (0.75 FTE) or full-time, ongoing role **is set to commence in January 2025.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment, adapting teaching styles and approaches to meet individual student needs.
- Employ effective pedagogical practices to promote students’ academic, emotional, and spiritual growth.
- Implement a range of teaching strategies to deliver the curriculum effectively.
- Engage actively in the School’s pastoral care system, reflecting the values of Loreto.
- Foster a positive learning environment through clear expectations and consistent classroom management.
- Provide a safe, child-centred environment for all students.
- Contribute to the wider life of the school beyond the classroom.

**About You**
- Current Teaching Registration (Victorian Institute of Teaching)
- Proven expertise and knowledge in teaching Italian (Year 7 to Year 11)
- An ability to teach Religious Education or another method will be highly regarded
- Experience teaching Year 12 Italian will be highly regarded
