**Urban Planner**

**Permanent - Full time* 38 hours**

**Salary: Band 5 - $75,511.82 - $87,624.83 + superannuation**
- **Role includes an RDO**

**What you’ll be working on**
- Assess Planning Applications against the requirements of Planning and Environment Act 1987, the Hobsons Bay Planning scheme, The Subdivision Act 1988 and other related legislation
- Deliver exceptional, customer-centric service to both internal and external customers

**What you need to succeed**
- A tertiary qualification in Statutory Planning or a related discipline.
- A current Victorian driver’s license.
- A sound understanding of Statutory Planning legislation, the planning framework and planning principles as they operate in Victoria, including those relating to land subdivision.
- A strong customer focus and confidence in dealing with customers via all modes of communication.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
