**About the role**

Responsible for the conduct of routine and more complex diagnostic activities, without direct supervision, resulting in the effective provision of diagnostic clinical neurophysiology services to the community.

Accountable to the Neurology Unit Head of Service and Head of Epilepsy Services for providing quality diagnostic readings for analysis by specialist neurologists including routine Electroencephalography (EEG), Video-EEG monitoring (VEM) and multi-modality Evoked potentials (EP’s). The technician is expected to assist in the training and supervision of junior staff.

**Qualifications**
- A Diploma or Advanced Diploma in a relevant Technical discipline.
- An Associate Diploma of Health Science (Clinical Neurophysiology) or equivalent qualification.

**Essential Requirements**:

- Current National Police Clearance (NPC)
- Working with Children Check
- Immunisation screening as indicated in the role description. SA Health Services are required to implement the Addressing vaccine preventable disease: Occupational assessment, screening and vaccination policy in the workplace.
