**About the role**
As a result of continued growth Home in Place is looking for an experienced Cleaner to join our Newcastle Team, based in Beresfield. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor you will take pride in your work by providing a professional and quality cleaning service on Residential Homes and Units.

Key duties include:

- Clean all fixtures and fittings including ovens and appliances
- Floor polishing and buffing tasks
- Window cleaning
- Operate steam cleaners and vacuum cleaners to clean carpets and drapes
- Wash down and disinfect bathrooms, kitchens and wet areas
- Lawn and garden maintenance

**About You**
- Proven experience in all facets of residential cleaning services
- Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery used in cleaning
- Physically fit
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper storage and disposal methods
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as a team
- Excellent organisational skills a must
- Self-motivation and the ability to identify and complete needed tasks without direct supervision
- White card
- Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination status

**Job Benefits**
- $28 per hour
- Flexible working arrangements either 9-day fortnight or monthly RDO(based on hours worked)
