Farm Hand

The Flexiforce team are seeking a Farm Hand for a top-market family-owned Agricultural business specialising in Beef cattle, to help in the management of their large estate.

The property is located in the beautiful Illawarra region, approximately 10 minutes outside of Robertson, with a bus stop right out front. Easy access to both Wollongong and Southern Highlands shopping.

We’re looking for someone professional & mature with a high level of fitness, as this will be a physically demanding job.

The successful applicant will need to have:

- Previous experience working on a farm.
- Background working with cattle.
- A pragmatic mindset.
- Ability to effectively communicate, as well as understand and interpret instructions.
- Knowledge of how to operate high-quality farm machinery in a safe and responsible manner, abiding to all WHS requirements.

They will be expected to:

- Adhere to safety and health regulations.
- Perform maintenance checks of farm buildings, machinery, and equipment.
- Muster livestock.
- Monitor and attend to animal & crop health/welfare.
- Perform practical tasks such as operating machinery, feeding animals, or spraying the fields.
- Work unsupervised, as well as part of a team.

Must be a reliable & hardworking individual who is passionate about agriculture.
