**About the role**

As the **Workforce Coordinator Team Leader**, you will be integral to the success of V/Line’s Customer Services & Accessibility Roster Planning team. You will lead the formation of a new centralised rostering team, and the development of efficient and effective rosters, ensuring that operational effectiveness, safety principles, and employee amenity are maintained while meeting the diverse needs of local management teams.

**_ Key Accountabilities include:_**
- Develop and maintain master and short-term rosters for station staff and conductors, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
- Implement changes to conductor and station staff shifts based on timetable alterations and planned events.
- Manage annual leave, ad hoc leave requests, and employee requests such as shift swaps and overtime preferences.
- Drive continuous improvement in rostering processes, including fatigue risk management and efficiency enhancements.
- Champion the migration to the Hastus 2023 rostering system, ensuring effective usage and integration.

- Demonstrated alignment to V/Line’s values of responsiveness, integrity, impartiality, accountability, respect, leadership, and human rights.
- A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in roster planning or management.
- Experience with the Hastus system and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong rail/transport experience and knowledge of Enterprise Agreements.
- Ability to support stakeholders in understanding new concepts and systems.

Remuneration for this position will be in line with the V/Line Rail Operations and Administrative Employees Agreement 2023.
