- Ambulance Tasmania is seeking suitably qualified applicants for the role of Health Relationship Manager in Southern Region, Tasmania.**The Role**:

- Provide strategic advice and recommendations to inform the development of patient flow and transfer of care initiatives in AT working with relevant facilities to identify and implement strategies to improve efficiencies and performance
- Provides strategic and operational patient flow advice, in accordance with policy, to the Assistant Director - Operations, to support:

- Attaining and maintaining positive working relationships with relevant DoH and private facilities.
- Escalation of patient flow, delayed transfer of care and interhospital transfer delays.
- Setting and monitoring performance standards for patient flow and transfer of care initiatives.
- Development and promotion of alternate referral pathways to better meet the medical care needs of patients.
- Developing, implementing, and monitoring projects and policy and procedures that contribute to enhanced patient flow and transfer of care outcomes.
- Develop and maintain cooperative, productive, and professional working relationships with key stakeholders to maximise the awareness of and capacity for success of, shared operational and clinical integrative demand strategies.
- Liaise and collaborate with hospitals, emergency services and other health and community care providers to establish and formalise patient flow, transfer of care and integrated care initiatives.

**Details of Appointment**:
Fixed Term, full time, day worker position working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible until 31 January 2024.

**Location**:

**Salary**:
$135,629 per annum + 10.5% superannuation
- _Salary range is in accordance with Ambulance Tasmania Agreement 2019_

**Eligibility**:
Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria:

- Registered with the Paramedicine Board of Australia
- Holds a Bachelor of Paramedic Science or other qualification approved by the Service and relevant work experience with an additional qualification in management or equivalent
- Current Driver’s Licence
- Registration/licences that are essential requirements of this role must remain current and valid at all times whilst employed in this role and the status of these may be checked at any time during employment. It is the employee’s responsibility to ensure that registration/licences remain current and to advise the Employer if their circumstances change. This includes notifying the Employer if a registration/licence is revoked, cancelled or has its conditions altered.

- Postgraduate qualifications in management and appropriate managerial experience
- Knowledge of Project Management principles
