**GIS Analyst (6-Month Contract)**

**Location**: Joondalup, WA

**Hourly Rate**: $60 - $80 per hour (Based on Experience)

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Utilize GIS software and tools to analyse spatial data, create maps, and produce geographic information products.
- Conduct data collection, validation, and interpretation to support project requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project objectives and provide GIS expertise.
- Perform spatial analysis and modelling to derive insights and inform decision-making processes.
- Ensure data integrity and quality assurance throughout the GIS workflow.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of GIS databases and systems.
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in GIS technology.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Geography, Geomatics, Environmental Science, or related field.
- Proven experience working with GIS software such as ArcGIS, QGIS, or similar platforms.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with spatial analysis techniques and data visualization.
- Familiarity with remote sensing and GPS technology is a plus.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills to meet project deadlines.

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
