**About the Role**

The Melbourne School of Population and Global Health (MSPGH) is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Centre Administrator and Executive Assistant (Administrator) for one of its six Centres and Institutes. In this multi-faceted position, the Administrator will play an important role in the provision of effective support to the Centre Director and senior staff to achieve the research and academic objectives of the Centre.

Responsibilities include:

- Manage complex work schedules and electronic diaries, including arranging meetings
- Provide broad executive support as required such as drafting high quality formal correspondence, research administration, implementing efficient administrative systems, and follow up on required actions
- Field complex enquiries and provide appropriate advice and information to all levels of the school in a professional and courteous manner
- Identify, review and develop administrative systems and local procedures to ensure administrative services are delivered efficiently and effectively

**About You**
You will bring your excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills with the ability to draft formal correspondence and marketing materials, as well as build and maintain effective working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders. Your well-developed time management skills allow you to determine priorities, meet deadlines and effectively balance competing demands and to work effectively under pressure both independently and as a member of a team.

You will also have:

- A relevant tertiary qualification or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education and training
- Previous experience with a broad range of complex administrative duties
