**Be challenged and imagine with us**

Working with Conjoint Professor David Durrheim, you will deliver on the priorities of the Prevention Research Support Program (PRSP), reducing the risk of communicable disease transmission. The role involves leading projects within the Hunter New England Local Health District that focus on One Health and emerging infectious disease risks using social science methods. The role is supported by public health and industry partners. Other responsibilities will include facilitating the NSW Regional One Health Network and working with Health Protection team members in existing COVID-19 and One Health projects.

In this position you will work with multiple partners both within and outside of government, including health professionals, veterinary staff, people working with wildlife and aged care.

Using social science tools, your findings will influence and impact government policies.
