**Providore on Hastings is a well established Cafe & Gourmet Grocery Store located at the entry to Netanya Noosa Resort on Hastings Street.**

We are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager with great coffee knowledge to help lead our team

**What we look for?**
- Proven skills in a similar hospitality management role with a minimum of 2 years Barista experience including coffee art
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage and motivate the team
- Food and Safety knowledge
- Work well under pressure whilst maintaining a calm decorum
- Ability to lead alongside management & be able to make well considered decisions
- Flexibility in hours between 6am - 6pm, based over a 7 day operational week

**A typical day?**
- Support the growth and development of the Providore on Hastings product to maintain the highest brand standards ensuring consistency in service
- Assist in the day-to-day management operations of the cafe & grocery store
- Provide excellent customer service, specialising in the promotion of products and services
- Training of new employees, ensuring policies and procedures are followed
- Understand and maintain stock levels including, rotation, ordering, receiving, product placement & presentation
- Develop and maintain supplier relationships
- Accountability for till, reporting and cash handling procedures
- Ensure all areas are clean and tidy at all times, both front and back of house
- Serving of customers including preparation of coffees, beverages and basic food prep

**What’s next?**

**Salary**: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year

Work Location: In person
