Maintenance Handyman/woman

Our company is looking to hire a **Handyperson** to undertake the upkeep and repair tasks of the interior and exterior of the customer’s premises. We are seeking an individual that is passionate about maintaining and ensuring that the facilities are in perfect condition.

The Maintenance person will be responsible for all upkeep and repair tasks of our interiors, as well as the exterior of all our customer’s buildings, equipment, vehicles, and other premises such as offices and various odd jobs.

To be the ideal individual you must be well-organized with strong general repair skills. A keen eye for detail, perfection and have the physical endurance to undertake varying duties.

This position will commence as a part-time position starting at approx. 25-30 per week but hours will increase in the near future.

**Responsibilities**:

- All aspects of maintenance and cleaning of all facilities exterior
- Perform maintenance and light repairs
- Perform routine landscaping on the grounds
- Perform routine vehicle check at each facility. (Water, oil, tyres, general cleaning)
- Paint and fill gaps or crevices (on walls, sidewalks etc.)
- Undertake light installation or carpentry
- Test and Repair equipment or appliances
- Assist visiting tradespeople
- Emergency after hours repairs
- Undertake duties as assigned or emergency tasks (e.g., Equipment breakdown)
- Identify and report the need for major repair
- Maintenance registers and documentation

**Requirements and skills**
- Proven experience as a handyperson
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to relate to a diverse range of people.
- Ability to plan, prioritize and be responsive to need, including demonstrating resilience to the demands of the role
- Experience with hardware tools and electrical equipment
- Basic understanding of electrical, Landscaping, Vehicles, and plumbing systems
- Has great initiative and ability to think outside the box and excellent communication skills
- Well-organized and attention to detail
- Willing to travel to varying sites within Sydney
- Must be willing to undertake a WWCC and Criminal record check.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 30 per week

**Salary**: $29.55 - $45.65 per hour
