Laundy Hotels are seeking a Cellar Manager to join the team at The Log Cabin in Penrith.

Originally built in 1826, The Log Cabin has been a pivotal part of the Penrith and Greater Nepean region for almost 200 years. Now it is time for the next chapter.

**THE OPPORTUNITY**
Reporting to the General Manager, as the Cellar Manager at The Log Cabin you are responsible for but not limited to:

- Stock control - including ordering/ receiving and stock movements as well as oversee stocktakes
- Ensuring invoicing and cost controls are up to date and maintained
- Be responsible for facilitating & upskilling bar back + glassy team in cellar operations as well as fostering team culture and guest relationships
- Ensuring systems + procedural compliance including cellar cleanliness
- Staff induction schedules + training
- Operational compliance audits
- Ensure WHS compliance
- General repairs and maintenance
- Ensuring all delivered product is of the highest quality

**WHO ARE YOU**
As a driven, passionate and focused individual you will possess the following attributes and skills:

- Experienced in hotel and retail stock inventory, including using purchase orders invoices
- Demonstrate repair and maintenance knowledge
- Experience in food & beverage stocktake
- Sound understanding of ordering and budget control
- Have cellar and beer line maintenance knowledge
- Strong WHS knowledge
- Cash handling ability
- General hotel operation / management experience
- Support set up and pack down of events held in-venue
