**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**

Perform the duties of College Receptionist, including taking messages, transferring calls.
Be the first face of the College. Greet visitors, handle inquiries. Ensure the College
reception is a warm, welcoming place.
Maintain the presentation standard of the College reception area.
information both internally and with other organisations.
Distribute incoming mail and other material.
Organise outgoing mail and couriers.
Assist with maintaining current student records, specifically change of address details
and medical information.
Assist with office stationery items including printed stationery, as well as catering
products. Source suppliers and prepare orders as required.
Ensure stationery supply cupboard is kept tidy.
Maintain the production room ensuring it is kept tidy.
Process EFT payments for parents.
Assistance with events.
Kitchen housekeeping, each afternoon load the dishwasher and wipe down the kitchen.
Provide assistance/support as required/directed by the College Leadership Team.
Process staff professional development requests after approval from Principal. Ensuring
complete recording of courses with TASS for staff records.
In busy times - assist with Student Reception - provide first aid.
Actively contribute to a safety citizenship culture upholding health and safety policies,
procedures, hazard reporting and safe work practices.

**JOB REQUIREMENTS**

Hold or be eligible to hold a Positive Notice (Blue Card) for Child Related
Employment from the Public Service Business Agency.
First Aid certificate, or be willing to acquire one.
Conditions and Salary
This is a full-time role, commencing early in 2024
National Training Wage Award
Fully Funded Qualification
Superannuation as per the Superannuation Guarantee. Currently 11%

**SALARY**

$19,000 - $25,000 plus 11% Superannuation
- National Training Wage Award
- Fully Funded Qualification

**MORE INFORMATION**
- People with tertiary qualifications need not apply. Current university applicants may have to defer their studies to be eligible for this traineeship.
- This position is best suited to a recent secondary school leaver.
