**About the role**

A key member of our Narre Warren - Cranbourne Road Upgrade Project team, the Utilities Supervisor will play an important role in the management and supervision of the installation, relocation, and protection of all the civil utilities on the project, to the required quality, program and in-line with the budget.
- Working from the south-eastern suburb of Cranbourne, this role offers an opportunity for you to enjoy coming to work This is a hands-on leadership role that requires you to monitor and review the performance of plant, labour, and subcontractors to ensure production targets are met.
- You will have solid attention to detail, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a minimum of five years of experience in working on large/complex projects. You will ideally have a strong understanding of all aspects of Utilities Management - electricity, gas, water, and sewage, and communications services.- Manage and coordinate the process for the relocation of utility services through effective management and interface with utility owners/providers.
- Provide overall progress reports and other reports related to schedule and cost as required by the Superintendent.
- Lead, manage, mentor, and coach a team of sub-contractors.
- Promote total job safety and environmental awareness by employees, subcontractors, and all persons in the job vicinity.
- Ensure that hazards are identified, risks assessed, and control measures planned and implemented in consultation with relevant employees.
- Monitor and review the performance of plant, labour, and subcontractors to ensure production targets are met or bettered and take appropriate action as necessary.
- Organise, coordinate, and direct construction activities in accordance with construction schedules so as to complete the works on time

**About you**
- Trades qualification relevant to the construction, building or manufacturing industries.
- Minimum of five years’ experience relevant to the designated project and having previously held a position of Supervisor or Foreman.
- Previous experience with Utilities Management - electricity, gas, water, and sewage, and communications services will be highly desirable.
- Sound working knowledge of HS&E requirements and implementation of same.
- Strong and proven ability to lead, direct and manage groups of diverse employees.
