**The Opportunity**:
Ahrens Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) - Manufacturing to support the Group General Managers and Divisional Managers in the accounting and administrative functions by providing key management information and achieving financial reporting objectives for the Business Units.** **As a key member of the leadership team, you will contribute to the company's success by driving financial performance, ensuring compliance, and supporting strategic decision-making. Reporting to the Group CFO, the CFO will play a critical role in providing strategic financial guidance and driving financial performance to support the company's growth objectives.

**Responsibilities**:

- Full accountability of the inventory costing systems including the set up and maintenance thereof.
- Ensure the accuracy of inventory by maintaining accurate standard cost and associated cost models for products.
- Assist with the development, maintenance and review of financial, operational and administrative.
- Policies and procedures to ensure they support the effective and uniform running of the business units and align with the overall group.
- Proactively develop controls or processes that will provide data integrity and efficiency.
- Ensure managers have a sound framework for undertaking annual forecasting, business planning and budgeting (that aligns with the overall group), and provide advice to managers when necessary.
- Work with managers to develop and maintain a performance management system which links operational and financial information and key performance indicators to our strategic and business goals.
- Provide models and reporting that delivers an understanding of costs in all areas.
- Provide leadership, direction and management of the finance and administration team in your business units.
- Risk management, including that arising from contracts with key customers.
- Provide advice and additional financial analysis to managers to ensure they develop an effective financial approach to achieving their business goals.
- Assist with cash flow monitoring, in conjunction with the Group CFO, to ensure the business units needs will be met.
- Liaise with managers on cash flow and cash flow forecasts to ensure good decision making.

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; an MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
- Proven experience as a CFO or a senior finance executive in the manufacturing industry.
- In-depth knowledge of financial management principles, practices, and regulatory requirements.
- Day-to-day financial operations experience of an organisation with annual turnover of at least $75M.
- Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights.
- Demonstrated expertise in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Excellent leadership and people management abilities, with a track record of developing high-performing teams.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
