Payroll Officer

We are looking for experienced Payroll professionals to join an existing team until mid-September 2024. This exciting opportunity sees you working within a busy payroll derpatment on a variety of different outcome focused tasks. The primary responsibility will be to work on fortnightly payroll activites for upwards of 1500 staff.
Your daily tasks will include;
- Answer payroll queries
- RDO Setup and maintenance
- Reviewing payroll-realted documentation
- Experience with Chris 21, SAP, MYOB or PayGlobal
- Weekly, fortnightly and monthly reports
- Assist with payroll and financial activities at month and year end
- State government experience is desirable, however not essential
Interested applicants must be able to demonstrate previous experience in a similar role which includes a strong knowledge of current payroll legislation, STP, and redundancy/termination payments. Exposure to one of the above listed payroll systems is essential, as is a keen eye for detail and strong written and verbal communications skills. Immediate Start - 5 days in convenient CBD location.
