Logistics Coordinator

BG Brisbane is an Australian owned Family Fresh Produce company, with extensive agricultural links.

**About the Role**

Due to the ongoing growth of our Packing business, we are currently recruiting a process driven **Logistics Coordinator** to join our team in a newly created position. Based at our Packing facility located within the Fresh Produce Markets at Rocklea.
- Work closely with the Production Manager & Team to ensure all stock flow is planned to ensure a quick and efficient pack-out for the day.
- Build effective relationships with all internal stakeholders including transport companies’ personnel, storage facilities and customers.
- Fast and efficient movement of intake, outbound stock as well as stock movement within the business.
- Work with key stakeholders to ensure orders are shipped and delivered on time
- Promptly resolve freight issues as they arise
- Analyse and optimise the logistics processes in your area.

**About You**
- Previous experience in a similar Logistics role ideal.
- Strong follow up and commitment skills to “Doing it once and doing it right”
- Demonstrated experience with basic cause & effect relationships
- Responds calmly in difficult situations maintaining a strong customer service focus
- Strong ability to prioritise and multi-task
- Detail focused
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously as well as within a team environment
- Working knowledge of WH&S, Quality Assurance an advantage.
- Ability to interact effectively with team members and management
- Holder of a current Forklift driver’s licence

**Salary**: $1,193.00 per week

Schedule:

- Night shift
- Shift work

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

- Rocklea, QLD: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

- Forklift: 1 year (required)
