**What you'll be doing**

The position reports to the Director PMO and is responsible for providing the day-to-day leadership and management of strategic Local Health District projects, and driving the successful realisation of these. The role will also be responsible for developing capability in the use of best practice project and change management; this will involve using evidence-based methodologies and mentoring of staff.
The overall job purpose of the PMO Project Manager is to:

- To successfully manage and deliver Strategic Change Initiatives for the District which achieve significant Business Outcomes that generate business value Benefits.
- Managing the Change Initiative in accordance with the Districts Strategic Project Delivery Framework and mandated Governance Controls and Processes. Build capability across the District in the use of best-practice Project Management and Governance approaches, through the provision of Leadership, Education, and Mentoring of colleagues at all levels.
- All NSW Health workers are required to have completed an up-to-date course of a COVID-19 vaccine (2 doses) which has been approved or recognised by the Therapeutics Goods Administration (TGA). New applicants must have completed the vaccination course prior to commencement with NSW Health, or provide an approved medical contraindication certificate certifying the worker cannot have any approved COVID-19 vaccines available in NSW.

Acceptable proof of vaccination is the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement or AIR COVID-19 Digital Certificate. Please provide proof of vaccination if available.
