About the role

The Grade 2 Dietitian at the Angliss Hospital is a key role within the Angliss Hospital Dietetic team by providing clinical support and leadership onsite. The caseload includes but not limited to: ICU, general surgery, general medicine, GEM and renal dialysis.

There will be opportunities to participate in quality projects, clinical supervision and student supervision. Clinical supervision is an important part of our everyday practice and is supported widely by the Eastern Health Dietetics department.

Eastern Health Dietetics operates from many different locations, with our largest sites including Angliss Hospital, Box Hill Hospital, Maroondah Hospital, Peter James Centre, Wantirna Health and Healesville Hospital.

About you

**To be successful in this role you will possess**:
Post-graduate/under graduate qualifications which make you eligible for membership for Dietitians’ Australia.

Recent experience in clinical settings including acute surgery/nutrition support.

Well-developed interpersonal skills and excellent organisational/time management skills.

Proven leadership skills and experience with quality improvement.

Experience with student supervision.

Ability to work with limited supervision.

Strong commitment to high quality patient care.

Surgery experience preferred but not essential

The ability to work as part of a diverse team

Occasional availability to cover weekends when needed
