We are looking for someone with current industry experience, knowledge, and qualifications in the Electrical trade to join our teaching team.

Mandatory Requirements
- Possession of one or more relevant formal vocational qualifications (UEE30811 Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician or equivalent minimum, Australian equivalent);
- possession of current relevant licenses (a QLD Electrical Workers Licence - Electrical Fitter, Electrical Mechanic or Electrical Fitter/Mechanic and or Instrumentation);
- Demonstrate a broad range of current industry skills and experience.

To become a TAFE Queensland teacher you must hold, or be willing to obtain, a qualification in adult education. Primarily this qualification is TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, or equivalent (please refer to the Teacher position description for further information).
Salary
Teacher (holds the mandatory adult education qualification I.e. CERT IV TAE etc.):
$81, 868.18 - $92,669.14 gross per annum (TAFE Queensland Educators Certified Agreement 2019)
Foundation Educator (whilst studying towards the mandatory adult education qualification I.e. CERT IV TAE etc):
$58,492.18 gross per annum

**Benefits**:

- 32 hour week is standard to be on campus with 4 ¼ hours to work from home. Total 36 ¼ hour week
- Your teaching week is split into contact teaching hours and non-contact hours. Any contact hours over 21 hours will be paid at an overtime rate of $99.
- 5 weeks Non-attendance Time (NAT) programmed annually for preparation (This for you to prepare for your upcoming classes from home)
- 12.75% superannuation
- 4 weeks Recreation Leave (accrued annually)
- 17.5% leave loading
