Our client is seeking to engage a Legal Advisory on a Permanent, Full time basis.

**In this role, your responsibilities would include but are not limited to the following.**
- Reporting to the Senior Legal Counsel in Madrid (Spain), you will be advising on legal issues arising from Agency´s renewable power generation growing business in Australia (Wind Farms and Solar Plants).
- Drafting and negotiating Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPCs) Contracts and Operation & Maintenance (O&M) Contracts.
- Drafting and negotiation of Connection Agreements and Power Purchase Agreements.
- Drafting & Negotiation with local authorities in relation to Community Engagement and Benefit Sharing Plans to engage and empower the local community to realise positive social outcomes associated with the Wind Farms.
- Acquisition of new Projects: Negotiation of Non-Disclosure Agreements and Sale and Purchase Agreements.
- Project Finance. Negotiation with Lenders.
- Drafting and negotiating fixed forward commodity contracts for Green Products. Negotiation of ISDA Agreements and analogous contracts (EFET, IETA) for both spot and forward and futures markets.
- Legal advice on day-to-day issues related to the operation of Wind Farms and Solar Plants (Force Majeure events, O&M contractor’s issues, neighbours’ relations, noise complaints, etc.)
- Providing ad-hoc advice to Finance, HR, Development and Operations Departments as required.
- Assist in identifying and managing key legal risks within the group particularly in the energy market regulatory area and under our contracts.
- Liaise with external legal counsel on outsourced legal matters.
- Advise on FIRB compliance matters
- Deal with a variety of property matters including lease negotiations.
- Corporate governance matters.

**Qualifications**:

- Tertiary qualifications in law
- Post-graduation qualifications well regarded

**To be successful in this role, you will have the following experience**:

- 2 to 4 + years post-admission experience as a lawyer.
- General legal experience in commercial areas of the law, with specialist experience in energy law highly relevant.
- Sound knowledge and ability to work in a manner consistent with good ethics, our values, and good corporate governance.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Adaptable to a fast-paced company with a strong growth agenda.
- Project management and time management skills.
- Problem-solving and negotiation skills.
- Effective communicator with a wide range of stakeholder.
