**The Opportunity**:
It doesn't happen often that we have an availability for a talented Merchandise/Category Manager to join our team. We are seeking a dynamic, creative and commercially savvy individual to lead a small team managing the 4X4 & Escape category, one of our fastest growing segments with a diverse product portfolio combining market leading national brands and a strong own-brand programs.

You will have overall responsibility for the growth and profitability of the category.

**Duties and responsibilities include**:

- Development, implementation and manage end to end category strategy
- Manage price, promotions, range and space within physical branches, online and reseller
- Reviewing market trends and data to identify opportunities to drive sales and profitability
- Completion a structured range review calendar
- Sourcing, negotiation and execution of the new product development pipeline
- Development of strong internal and external relationships
- Coach, mentor and develop a small team

- A strong commercial acumen and merchandise/category background, managing Suppliers and negotiating will be critical to your success together with excellent communication skills

- A strong influencer and change agent
- Analytical skills with a keen eye for detail
- A team player, who is focussed on success
