Within Global Workspace Solutions, also known as GWS, we are invested in the development and unique needs of our diverse employees and client accounts.- The successful applicant will be tasked with assisting in the project management of a large scale, national BMS optimisation project, including but not limited to the construction and wiring of control panels, all logistics arrangements including the distribution of panels, liaising with national CBRE team regarding latest project deadlines, and procurement of parts and materials.**Here’s a snapshot of your day:
- Wiring, testing, and commissioning of electrical control panels in a workshop environment.
- Uploading of control logic backups into DDC controllers.
- Site pre-inspections and reporting, as well as final on-site commissioning and defect rectifications including electrical and DDC fault finding.
- Installing new and replacing faulty electrical components such as VSDs, temperature and air quality devices, actuators and panel control devices such as relays, indication lights and AOM switches.
- Fault finding of existing Mechanical Services Switchboards including control systems, relays and power distribution.
- Accurately completing maintenance records and other project management documentation including spread sheets and Energy Safety Certifications. Working collaboratively within the team and across other internal CBRE departments.- A-Grade Electrical trade qualification.
- Problem-solver with the ability to diagnose faults and issues in a disciplined and methodical manner.
- Switch board and control panel construction in a workshop environment.
- Reading and interpreting electrical wiring diagrams and schematics.
- Project management skills to fulfil project timelines and deadlines, including liaising with key stake holders.
- Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office Suite. (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Strong English verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work autonomously.
- Hold a current Australian Driving Licence.

**Desired, not essential**
- PLC/DDC Programming, in particular EasyIO and Tridium Niagara platforms or equivalent qualification by experience.
- Mechanical HVAC trade qualification or equivalent qualification by experience.
- Experience as a Service/Field/Electrical technician (HVAC/BMS) with demonstrated experience in servicing and maintaining of technical equipment for commercial businesses.
- Ability to understand control strategies and systems to make assessment and recommendations for enhancements and efficiencies.
