**Skills and Experience**
- Proficiency in delivering top-notch Customer Relationship Management that enhances service excellence and fosters customer loyalty.
- Proven track record in identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities within the steel or building products sector.
- A personable and confident demeanor, capable of effectively interacting with a diverse range of individuals.
- Exceptional time management skills to ensure efficient task prioritization and completion.
- Willingness to collaborate and support other team members in sales when needed.
- Consistent achievement of weekly and yearly sales revenue and gross margin targets.
- Successful attainment of the territory's sales budget.
- Diligent execution of essential sales activities, including planning, prospecting, crafting compelling value propositions, conducting face-to-face sales, analyzing data, and formulating tactical responses to competitor activities.
- Acquisition of new, high-quality clients to replace those nearing the end of their product life cycle.
- Methodical and systematic prospecting to uncover new opportunities.
- Providing precise quotes and managing orders with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
- Offering valuable customer feedback to management for continuous improvement.
- Delivering comprehensive product knowledge to customers, covering the entire range of steel, or building products in a clear, concise, and informative manner.
Ideally you will possess building material or Steel background experience; however, applicants will be considered from a Trade, Sales, and Manufacturing background.
**Key responsibilities**
- Promote and develop a positive safety culture across the business.
- Proactively visit customer sites on a regular basis to ensure service levels are consistently met or exceeded.
- Positively promote Bluescope services to existing and new clients
- Deliver professional proposals/quotes to current and potential clients.
- Plan all customer engagements to deliver value propositions to the customer, plus profitable revenue growth for the business.
- Drive safety improvement through the regular delivery of safety talks and site inspections
- Maintaining compliance and an accurate account history for existing and prospective client
