Our client is one of Australia's leading independent grocery importers, and a one stop-shop solution for brand owners across the globe providing an exceptional stable of the finest local and imported food brands.

We have an excellent opportunity for a dynamic, enthusiastic, and self-motivated Sales & Marketing Co-ordinator to join our growing Foodservice Team.

**About the Role**

Reporting to the National Sales Manager, this newly created role will support the national foodservice team with sales analysis, customer submissions, sales & marketing presentations, promotion management and channel improvement projects. This role is an exciting opportunity for someone who is looking to advance their sales career and develop into account management.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist the national foodservice team with delivery of both top line sales and margin contribution budget as well as execution of the national sales strategy.
- Control and deliver agreed trade promotional spend for major identified customers groups.
- Assist the team with customer administration and communication on a range of aspects such as price file, price list, trade presenter and marketing collateral etc.
- Undertake sales analysis and reporting for the foodservice team including monthly/weekly reporting - scorecards, KPI tracking, monthly sales updates etc.
- Act as the promotional program coordinator to optimise and manage required activities.
- Support and execute sales training plans and collateral as required.
- To develop your account management experience, component of the role is customer facing, so you will be responsible for developing and executing customer plans.
- Develop, grow and maintain relationships with key account customers to support business objectives.
- Support the account team in developing and delivering customer review presentations.
- Play a pivotal role in the demand planning process for the account team.

**Key Criteria**:

- Marketing Degree/Diploma or relevant studies.
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role in food services.
- FMCG experience is favorable with a background in Sales Experience - Customer facing preferred.
- Strong MS Office skills with high level in Excel.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset as this role will assist in the development of selling tools for the team.
- Ability to listen, build rapport, and credibility with internal and external customers at all levels
- Sound ability to collect, analyse and present complex data and information effectively to support decision making and action planning.
