Boilermaker Fabricator

Job Overview:
Key Responsibilities:

- Fabrication and Welding:

- Fabricate and weld metal components and structures according to approved weld procedures and technical drawings.
- Position, align, and fit parts to form complete units, ensuring precision and adherence to design specifications.
- Machinery and Tools Operation:

- Operate and maintain fabrication and welding tools and machinery, including but not limited to cutting torches, grinders, and welding equipment.
- Conduct regular checks and maintenance to ensure equipment is in optimal working condition and adheres to safety standards.
- Measurement and Cutting:

- Measure and cut metal materials using various tools, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project specifications.
- Utilize measuring instruments to verify dimensions and alignment, making necessary adjustments to ensure precision.
- Technical Interpretation:

- Demonstrate the ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
- Safety and Maintenance:

- Ensure all tools and equipment are maintained in a safe, functional condition, adhering to company and industry safety standards.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and well-maintained to promote a safe and efficient working environment.
- Workshop and On-Site Duties:

- Perform workshop duties including assembly, inspection, and finishing of fabricated products.
- Carry out on-site duties as required, including installation, repair, and modification of metal structures and equipment.
- Collaboration and Communication:

- Collaborate with other team members and supervisors to ensure project goals are met efficiently and effectively.
- Communicate clearly with team members, management, and clients to provide updates on progress and address any issues or concerns.
- Must have at least 3 years relevant experience in structural materials, steel fabrication and MIG & Stick welding

Pay: $40.00 - $55.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
