**This is a Temporary Part Time 14 hours per week maternity relief position until 29 April 2025, with the possibility of extension at same/reduced hours.**
**What you’ll be doing**
The Joint Child Protection Response Program (JCPRP) Health Clinician position provides direct support to children, young people who have experienced serious and criminal sexual and physical abuse and neglect and their non-offending families referred to JCPRP. The JCPRP Health Clinician supports the JCPRP Senior Health Clinician in managing the health component of The Joint Child Protection Response Program (JCPRP) in partnership with JCPRP inter agency partners, NSW Police and Department of Family and Community Services of Illawarra and Shoalhaven.

This position is based within the Joint Child Protection Response Program Office at Wollongong.

**Selection Criteria**
- Extensive direct clinical experience providing counselling and group work and for people (including children) who have experienced violence, abuse, neglect and trauma.
- Demonstrated clinical practice with appropriate ethics and boundaries when working therapeutically with children, young people and their families who have experience violence, abuse or neglect as well as a demonstrated understanding of legislation related to the above issues.
- Demonstrated high level ability to communicate clearly and succinctly both verbally and in writing, and proven ability to work effectively and collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team. Demonstrated competence in the use of electronic information systems.
- Demonstrated ability to initiate, lead, complete and share quality improvement activities and service evaluation processes with other staff and demonstrated capacity to provide clinical supervision.
- Current NSW Drivers Licence, with the ability to travel in accordance with position responsibilities.
