**Date**:24 May 2024**Location**:Moorebank, NSW, AU, 2170**Company**:Ventia- Support our significant maintenance contract to deliver** Australian Defence Force** capability. We are seeking a **Technical Supervisor** to play a unique role in keeping Australian Defence assets ready for activities based at Steele Barracks in Moorebank, NSW. You’ll work Monday-Thursday 7am-3:45pm and Fridays 7am-12pm.
- **_You must be an Australian citizen and able to obtain a Defence Security Clearance._**

**What you will be doing**:

- Provide leadership and supervision of tradespeople to achieve maintenance outcomes for performance, quality, compliance, and safety.
- Build and develop teams, provide technical support, and identify training gaps.
- Allocate Maintenance tasks appropriately.
- Coordinate and prioritise maintenance workflows for work group no larger than 10 trades, working closely with the Site Manager and Planning team.
- Operate as part of an integrated team, within the Region and with the Commonwealth
- Lead and provide development and training support to technical employees. This includes identifying training gaps and reporting to the Site Manager.

**About You**:

- Demonstrated experience in leadership of a maintenance team, technical investigation, quality audits and technical inspections.
- Fitter knowledge and experience desired.
- MILIS/SAP experience is advantageous.
- Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to coach & lead work teams.
- Possess a current Australian open driver license for C class of vehicles (manual).
