**About the role**

**Duties**
- Design, develop and implement environmental programs and plans for Council
- Oversee delivery of Council's environmental assets.
- Review reports including Review of Environmental Factors (REF), and plans to ensure environmental compliance.
- Liaise with service delivery divisions.
- Provide information on design and legislation for environmental strategies.

**Skills**
- Tertiary qualifications in environmental studies(e.g., Bachelor of Environmental Engineering/Science).
- Australian Institute of Project Management (AIPM) Certification or equivalent
- Class C (standard) Driver's Licence
- General Construction Induction Training Card

**Experience**
- Understanding of Review of Environmental Factors (REF)
- Must have some local experience
- Minimum 5 years demonstrated experience in end-to-end civil infrastructure project and heritage infrastructure
- Solid understanding and experience in risk assessment of projects
- Excellent time management skills
- Highly developed communication skills (oral and written)
