As a result of this growth, we're on the lookout for an
**Environmental Manager **to join our
**Advisory **team. Our advisory team provide our clients with advisory services that address complex technical, commercial and operational matters and positively influence project delivery outcomes.

**Role Description**

As the Environmental Manager, you will be the Subject Matter Expert of all Environmental and Sustainability technical advice for our team. The Environmental Manager will also be pivotal in strengthening our existing client relationships, as well as helping to identify new opportunities to win work and grow our environmental offering.

**Responsibilities**
- Plan and prepare environmental policies, programs, and procedures to ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and standards.
- Be the Subject Matter Expert of Environmental and Sustainability technical advice and support for bids, tenders and projects.
- Conduct environmental assessments, impact studies, and environmental audits as required.
- Work with project teams to identify and evaluate environmental risks and develop strategies to minimise impacts and mitigate risks for our clients.
- Develop and manage environmental monitoring plans, including air, water, and soil monitoring.
- Manage all environmental permits and regulatory approvals required for construction projects.

This role offers great diversity across various industries including Infrastructure, Transport, Energy and Water.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

- Relevant experience in environmental management, preferably within the construction, or infrastructure industry.
- Extensive knowledge of Queensland environmental legislation, regulations, and standards.
- Demonstrated experience in environmental management systems and monitoring programs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Well-developed project management skills, including the ability to multitask and manage competing priorities.
- Tertiary qualification in environmental science, assessment or management, urban planning, or similar discipline.
