Horsegenix is a small, family-owned business, located in Priestdale, QLD. We are looking for people who are passionate about caring for horses of all ages, from foals to elderly horses. Weekend and public holiday work will be required. Must have a drivers license and own transport.

**General tasks will include**:

- Handling horses of all ages
- feeding
- bathing & grooming
- tacking up
- bugging
- cleaning stables & yards
- administering medications and basic first aid
- routine health care
- assisting farrier, dentist, chiro, acupuncturist & veterinarian
- waters
- loving our horses like they are your own

**Essential Skills**:

- enthusiastic & willing to learn
- strong work ethic
- prior horse & foal handling experience
- extreme attention to detail
- reliable & punctual
- able to work alone & in a team
- communication skills
- work with vets, farriers, dentist, chiro & acupuncturist to manage the ongoing welfare of our horses

**Immediate start is available**:
**Approx hours - 2 positions Morning or Afternoon**

Mon - Fri (Mornings): 7am - 11 am

Mon
- Fri (Afternoons): 2pm - 6pm
- 2 x Part Time Positions available or 1 x spilt shift position_

Mon - Fri (Mornings): 7am - 11am

Mon
- Fri (Afternoons): 2pm - 6pm

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 20-30 per week

**Salary**: From $22.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Afternoon shift
- Morning shift
- Rotating roster

Ability to commute/relocate:

- PRIESTDALE, QLD 4127: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
