**Salary level, range or hourly rate: School Officer Level 5 $37.18 per hour** (School Salary Scale)/(Services Salary Scale)

**Employment conditions**: Diocesan Catholic Education Employing Authorities in Queensland Single Interest Agreement

**About the role** - The successful applicant will show initiative, be able to work as a member of a team, be a skillful negotiator and be able to liaise with the school's clientele with empathy. This person will be highly organised and able to demonstrate sound judgement and discretion.
This finance secretary role requires personal qualities which enable the role holder to interact professionally and warmly with staff, parents, students and generally have highly developed personal skills which will include working collaboratively with our current, part-time finance officer in a shared role capacity.
Tertiary qualifications at Associate Diploma/Diploma level or equivalent qualifications relevant to the position may be required, or knowledge, qualifications and experience in finance management related areas that are determined by the employer as necessary to successfully carry out the duties of the position. Experience with BCE finance systems AX Dynamics is highly desirable but not essential.

To be eligible to be considered for this role you will:

- hold a Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card prior to commencement;
- be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment; and
- have a commitment to and understanding of the ethos and traditions of Catholic Education.
