**The Role**

Expressions of interest are invited from innovative, collaborative educators and leaders to drive improvement in digital literacy, working alongside classroom teachers to support and guide them to learn, adopt and embed technology that enhances teaching and student learning outcomes across the school.

Based at the Keilor East campus and working across all sections, you will lead a team of two eLearning Facilitators. You will be a qualified primary or secondary teacher with a passion for technology and learning. You may have a teaching method in digital technology or ICT but this is not required.

**The eLearning Coordinator will**:

- Lead the eLearning team in building capacity and developing and driving improvements across the school.
- Provide practical in-class support and guidance to P-12 teachers in the integration of educational technology in teaching and learning activities
- Lead the development of planning documentation to support eLearning throughout the school
- Coordinate with the school leadership, faculty coordinators, ICT Director and ICT team to support, develop and implement effective eLearning practices
- Organise and facilitate teacher workshops, on-on-one sessions and small group training to build digital literacy and improve the use of eLearning technologies
- Support the development and growth of the school’s learning management system (LMS) and other eLearning subscription services

This is a full time ongoing teaching role, with a four year tenured leadership position.
- Educational leadership including outstanding teaching practice
- Primary or secondary teacher qualifications, with current VIT registration
- Apple Distinguished Educator, Google Educator or Microsoft Innovative Education Expert accreditation would be of benefit
- Relevant experience driving technology initiatives for teachers and students
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- A strong understanding of current and emerging technologies and tools and how they can be integrated into the P-12 curriculum
- Well-developed writing skills, with experience developing training materials and resources
- A proactive and collaborative approach, with the ability to build trusting and respectful relationships and enable cooperation and engagement amongst staff
- A commitment to child safety, demonstrating an understanding of appropriate behaviours when engaging with children with diverse needs and backgrounds
- A current criminal record check and eligibility to work in Australia.
