Our Client is a leader in the forestry and forest products industry with an outstanding record. They require a Harvest Planner to join their professional team.

As Harvest Planner you will work with other key members in operations and forestry division in a highly integrated team.
Duties will include:

- Developing strategic harvest plans and schedules for forests across a large geographical area to ensure that volumes of timber are available on time to meet customer demands.
- You will also provide input into the regional harvest budget to ensure that the work program targets, unit rates and overall expenditure meet annual targets.
- Support the Harvest and Supply team in the development, implementation and review of operational plans for all harvesting activities.
- You will also provide front line coordination of contractors in terms of engagement, scheduling, performance targets, quality, safety and stewardships to ensure quality performance is received.
- Working with a professional team of managers, foresters, roading and long standing contractors in a collaborative environment working towards common goals.
- Ensuring environmental management standards and stewardship certifications are met will also be a key part of the role.
