**About the role**:
The role of Deployment Manager is located in PCET (Police Constables Extended Training) Program. PCET Program is part of the Foundation Training Division within People Development Command and is responsible for the co-ordination, management and oversight of Probationary Constable training post-graduation. The Deployment Manager plans and manages the deployment of all Probationary Constables for field placements 1, 2 & 3 and all deployments for the 19-week post-graduation phase. The role involves extensive liaison and collaboration with stakeholders and includes the requirement to deliver ‘in class' information sessions about all aspects of probationary constable deployment. The Deployment Manager is also responsible for compiling complex deployment plans and notices, and statistical data to inform management.

**Your duties will include**:

- Managing and planning the Probationary Constable and Prior Police Service member deployments, including field placements during the Foundation Training Program and post-graduation deployments.
- Managing all administrative documentation relating to deployments.
- Close consultation with relevant internal stakeholders regarding the deployment process.
- Providing and reporting on statistics relating to the post-graduation deployment of probationary constables to Dedicated Training Workplaces (DTW).
- Facilitation and delivery of classroom information sessions to recruits regarding the deployment process and allocation of permanent training stations.
- Preparation and dissemination of deployment notices.
- Assisting Personnel Placement Branch to allocate Probationary Constables to permanent training stations

**As the successful applicant, you will have**:

- Well-developed organisation skills and the ability to set goals to manage competing priorities
- Sound knowledge of legislation, policies and procedures governing the deployment process
- The ability to review statistical information to identify trends, patterns and issues and translate this information into advice or reports when required
- Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills to identify emerging issues and advise on the resolution of problems or emerging trends
- Well-developed interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills including a willingness to consult and collaborate with all levels
- Highly developed computer skills with particular focus on advanced MS Excel, MS Word and Outlook
- Demonstrated ability to assess client and stakeholder satisfaction and constructively manage any issues to ensure positive outcomes and resolutions for the stakeholder, parties and relevant Command.
